Mercury Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Corporate Counsel to lead the supply chain legal function for a defense contractor based in Andover, MA. You will partner with contracts, procurement, and engineering teams to handle U.S.

Government and commercial agreements, and drive process improvements across Legal and Supply Chain. The role requires 8+ years in government contracts focused on supply chain, deep FAR/DFARS experience, and ability to manage complex negotiations.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Typically requires 8+ years' experience as an attorney; 5+ years' experience in government contracts with a focus on supply chain.
• Deep understanding of FAR, DFARS, and defense contracting laws with emphasis on supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and advice to senior business officials, contracts professionals, and supply chain personnel on government and commercial contracts.
• Review and guide procurement, logistics, subcontractor management, and supplier negotiations; draft and negotiate key terms.
• Establish frameworks, SOPs, and processes to streamline reviews and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
