Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Corporate Counsel to serve as the lead Supply Chain Attorney for a defense contractor. You will drive process improvements across the Legal Department and the Supply Chain organization while advising on complex contracts and compliance matters.

Eligible candidates hold a JD, 8+ years of government contracts experience focused on supply chain, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance (US citizenship required).

Qualifications

• JD required with bar admission in at least one US state.
• 8+ years as an attorney with a focus on government contracts and supply chain.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR/DFARS and defense contracting practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to senior officials on procurement, logistics, and supplier management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of supply chain contracts and IP licensing.
• Lead SOPs and process-improvement initiatives within the Legal Department and Supply Chain.
• Advise on legal risks and ensure compliance with export controls and sanctions.
