Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management to drive the automation of delivery stations across North America and Europe. You will collaborate with our engineering teams on new product development, identify strategic suppliers, and lead negotiations from concept to scale.

You will manage procurement teams, optimize supplier networks, and implement risk controls while delivering cost and performance improvements.

Qualifications

10+ years of managing procurement teams with direct experience in supplier/supply chain experience.
Experience in contracting, demand management and/or planning and procurement, and supply chain operations.
Experience managing procurement teams with direct experience in supplier/supply chain management.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
Experience in strategic sourcing for high tech electronics/MHE equipment.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
Conduct rigorous supplier qualification processes to meet quality, delivery, and performance standards.
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for timely execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep projects on track.
Continuously analyze supply chain processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction and scalability.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to address issues promptly.
