Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain, Inc. is seeking a senior CI/automation leader to drive complex programs, define engineered standards, and oversee cross-site projects. You will model ROI, mentor engineers, and influence multi-site decisions while guiding a portfolio of automation initiatives.

You will architect WES orchestration with WMS/WCS, run pilots, and deliver advanced analytics for capacity and labor planning, reporting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering or a related field required.
• 4 years of experience in 3PL/warehouse environments required.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification required.
• Proven delivery of engineered standards and CI/automation results.
• Expert PMTS/time study; strong ROI/financial modeling skills.
• Experience with WMS/WES/WCS integration; AutoCAD; SQL/Python/BI proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own discovery and business case for automation projects, including KPI baselines and ROI.
• Lead cross-site standards programs with governance and audits.
• Architect WES orchestration with WMS/WCS and LMS; define interleaving rules.
• Run pilots (AMR, GTP, robotic case picking) with phased rollout plans.
• Implement advanced analytics: predictive dashboards and labor modeling.
• Coach engineers and managers; manage CI portfolio and benefits tracking.
• Provide leadership across complex engineering projects and initiatives.
