Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supply Base Management Specialist to support the E-7 team in Tukwila, WA or Oklahoma City, OK!

The ideal candidate for this role with be able to build a relationship with one of the two largest suppliers on our E-7 Franchise Program. Expected to partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage actions, develop plans, retire risk, and oversee schedule. These skills along with managing quality and safety at the forefront will ensure we are a part of the best team at Boeing.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations
  • Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
  • Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs
  • Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies
  • Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies
  • Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 5 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
  • More than 5 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • More than 5 years of experience in program management within supplier management
  • More than 5 years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
  • More than 5 years of working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Summary pay range:

Tukwila, WA $109,650 – $135,450

Oklahoma City, OK $96,050 - $118,650
