Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineering Manager in Tempe to lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers responsible for quality components, materials, and services. You will drive supplier performance, CAPA, and cross-functional investigations to resolve quality issues in a regulated environment.

The role requires a strong background in engineering/quality with leadership experience, ensuring compliance with purchasing controls and supporting FDA inspections and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 7+ years in Engineering, Quality, and/or regulated industry; 5+ years leadership.
• Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 5+ years in Engineering, Quality, and/or regulated industry; 5+ years leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Supplier Quality Engineers ensuring quality components, materials, and services.
• Develop/maintain monitoring systems to track supplier performance and CAPA.
• Lead cross-functional teams to investigate supplier-related quality issues.
• Lead corrective/preventive actions for supplier issues and audit findings.
• Ensure compliance to purchasing controls and assist audits/inspections.
