The role collaborates with Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and global suppliers to uphold APQP standards and drive continuous improvement across the supply base. The position emphasizes risk mitigation, PPAP/APQP readiness, and strong leadership to deliver quality components for Polaris plants and customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, quality, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supplier quality or related manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of project-based Supplier Quality Engineers with clear goals and development plans.
• Set priorities and drive timely supplier quality activities aligned with product development timelines.
• Oversee containment, root cause analysis, CAPA, and corrective action for supplier-caused issues.
• Lead cross-functional teams with Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and suppliers to resolve quality concerns.
• Drive APQP across the supply base and mitigate risk on high-risk components.
• Manage PPAP/APQP reviews and supplier qualification activities to ensure program timing.
• Communicate supplier quality risks and performance trends to leadership and cross-functional teams.
