Job summary

Polaris Electro-Optics, Inc. seeks a highly technical Senior Manager, Materials Manufacturing and Quality to lead manufacturing strategy for organic electro-optic materials, bridging offshore contract manufacturers, the Colorado lab, and OSAT cleanrooms.

You will own the ISO 9001 QMS, oversee suppliers and internal staff, and ensure processing meets semiconductor-grade quality standards while advancing materials operations.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or related field with 5+ years industrial experience, or MS with 8+ years.
• Deep familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management principles and PFMEA risk matrices.
• Hands-on experience interpreting complex analytical sequences (NMR, HPLC, ICP-MS, DSC).

Responsibilities

• Refine and maintain ISO 9001 framework for bench-scale manufacturing and SOPs.
• Own PFMEA matrix across manufacturing stages to mitigate risks.
• Serve as audits SME for hyperscaler customers and semiconductor partners.
• Direct external synthesis providers and manage technology transfer, validation, and scale-up.
