Job summary

Specialist Staffing Group seeks a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to support the Midas Rex product line within the powered surgical solutions portfolio. This role is primarily onsite in Fort Worth, TX, with one remote day per week.

You will ensure suppliers deliver high-quality parts, materials, and services and collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions. Key responsibilities include qualifying suppliers per PPAP, maintaining the approved supplier list, developing

Qualifications

• University degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 4+ years of supplier quality experience; medical device focus preferred.
• Expertise with PPAP, inspection/metrology, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Medtronic quality system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Qualify suppliers per company standards, PPAP focus.
• Maintain approved supplier list with segmentation and audits.
• Develop and validate inspection/test methods with internal teams.
• Oversee control plans, PFMEA, IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.
• Manage qualification deliverables and first article inspections.
• Prepare and review change orders; resolve non-conforming material issues.
• Mentor junior staff and manage related projects.
