Job summary

Bloom Energy in San Jose is seeking a Senior Staff Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality for fuel cell components. You will own supplier assessments, drive development, and ensure part and process reliability across the supply base.

Reporting to the Director of Supplier Quality, you’ll manage PPAP, GR&R, GD&T, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver First Time Right results while applying Six Sigma and DOE techniques in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• Quality Management System auditing experience.
• Proficiency in SPC, DOEs, and ANOVA.
• ASQ CQE and Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Strong cross-functional communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier quality assessments at system and product level, including PPAP, GR&R, GD&T.
• Drive supplier development and deployment of manufacturing processes to meet Bloom Energy requirements.
• Lead and manage root cause investigations using 8D problem solving.
• Support DFMEA/PFMEA activities to improve product designs and processes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to disposition suspect supplier materials.
