Job summary

Johnson Controls Federal Systems seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer for our Navy Systems plant in York, PA. You will provide day-to-day quality Engineering support to production and strategic suppliers, driving RCCA, continuous improvement, audits, PPAP/FAI, and supplier performance metrics.

The role requires a bachelor degree in engineering and at least 5+ years in manufacturing quality, preferably with heavy industry or aerospace experience. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of QMS standards (ISO 9000/AS 9100 or TS 16949).
• Experience with APQP, FMEA, Control Plan and PPAP/FAI.
• Proficient in MS Office and quality data analysis tools such as Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality technical support to production and suppliers.
• Lead supplier quality teams to address RCCA and continuous improvement.
• Conduct supplier system audits and approve FAI results.
• Develop test/inspection plans to verify parts and assemblies.
• Communicate supplier performance and drive improvement plans.
• Support plant quality procedures and supply chain communications.
