Job summary

Light & Wonder seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to own supplier and component quality for displays, CPUs/processors, and PCBA across the product lifecycle. You’ll drive supplier qualification, audits, and performance management with design, procurement, and manufacturing teams to build in quality from concept to mass production.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, PPAP/APQP leadership, and experience with IPC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field
• 7+ years of quality engineering experience in electronics or hardware manufacturing
• Direct, hands-on commodity experience with display technologies, CPUs/SoCs, and PCBA
• Proficiency with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC tools
• Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier performance
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality owner for display, CPU/processor, and PCBA commodities across the product lifecycle
• Lead supplier qualification, on-site audits, and ongoing performance management for component and contract manufacturers
• Drive quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) and review supplier submissions
• Investigate and resolve component and assembly failures using structured problem-solving (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa)
• Manage nonconformance (NCMR), containment, and SCAR processes to ensure timely closure
• Establish and track commodity quality metrics and drive continuous improvement
