Job summary

Light & Wonder’s Gaming Quality Assurance Engineering team seeks an experienced QA engineer to design, implement, and maintain QA methods for processing materials into finished products for global gaming operations. Position Summary

Quality Assurance Engineering focus specializes in designing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance for processing materials into products and compliance with safety, and regulatory standards. Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision of production processes, equipment and finished products.

• Designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products.
• Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution.
• Designs methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products.
• Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. GLP, GMP, ISO, Six Sigma).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier or parts quality engineering.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, metrology, and quality systems.
• Direct experience across a broad range of electromechanical and electronic components - including displays (LCD/OLED/LED), PCBAs, CPUs/processors, bill validators, card readers, and similar commodities - spanning supplier qualification, component reliability, and field failure resolution.
• Experience conducting audits and leading supplier improvement programs.
• High Proficiency with statistical tools and root-cause methodologies (8D, DMAIC).
• Strong influencing, and supplier-negotiation skills.
• Proven success driving strategic quality improvements.
