Job summary

TAS Energy is a Houston, TX-based company delivering modular systems for data centers and industrial utilities. The Supplier Quality Engineer will help qualify suppliers, drive continual improvement, and ensure robustness of service through audits and data-driven analysis across multiple teams.

Ideal candidates will have extensive supplier quality auditing experience, ASQ credentials, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• ASQ Quality Auditor certification preferred or approved equivalent.
• ASQ certification in Root Cause Analysis or Internal Auditing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and periodic supplier quality audits to ensure suppliers meet standards.
• Communicate with suppliers regularly to address concerns and drive continual improvement.
• Maintain supplier performance evaluation records and monitor KPIs with Procurement teams.
• Assist with DFMEA/PFMEA discussions and data-driven corrective actions.
• Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for the Quality department.
