Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking a highly experienced Supplier Quality Engineer with strong casting and machining knowledge, especially aluminum castings. The role requires frequent onsite supplier visits and active resolution of quality issues in existing production and new product development.

Expect hands-on leadership for supplier quality, CAPA, and process improvements, with collaboration across manufacturing and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 710 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, supplier quality, operations, or quality engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supplier quality activities for casting and machined components.
• Drive APQP, PPAP, and engineering change management processes at supplier locations.
• Provide hands-on support to suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve process capability.
• Support new product development (NPD) and address launch and ramp-up quality concerns.
• Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure sustainable quality improvements.
• Act as a technical interface between suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
