Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer for our manufacturing team on Okaloosa Island, FL. You will ensure the quality of supplier materials, drive performance, and implement corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires experience with FAR/ITAR, SPC, NCMR, AS9102, J-STD001, IPC610, and Minitab, plus the ability to travel for on-site audits. A Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5+ years of experience are expected; a Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 5+ years in supplier quality engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience with corrective actions, document control, FAR/ITAR, SPC, CSI, GSI, NCMR, AS9102, J-STD001, IPC610, and Minitab.
• Strong problem-solving, communications, and travel ability.
• Certified Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality standards are met.
• Lead supplier audits and on-site inspections.
• Implement corrective action plans to address supplier issues.
• Maintain document control and compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize SPC to monitor and improve supplier performance.
• Ensure FAR/ITAR compliance.
• Develop supplier quality training programs.
• Generate and maintain supplier quality reports.
• Work with engineering to define external supplier quality requirements.
• Travel for on-site audits as needed.
