Job summary

Protingent is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to work onsite in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This direct-hire role concentrates on supplier management, failure analysis, corrective actions, and AS9100 compliance to ensure hardware quality.

You will drive root-cause investigations, lead MRB and inspections, and support CSI/GSI with required documentation. A bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years in supplier quality in electronics or automotive manufacturing are required; IPC-A-610 Class 3

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, quality, reliability, or components engineering.
• Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Class 3.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier evaluation during product development to ensure high quality.
• Coordinate failure analysis and drive corrective actions for program hardware.
• Manage in-house program audits and AS9100 compliance activities.
• Lead Customer Source Inspection (CSI) and Government Source Inspection (GSI).
• Document NCMRs and drive MRB meetings as needed.
• Apply SPC methods to evaluate processes and support continuous improvement.
