Job summary

Divergent in Torrance, CA invites a Senior Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to join our on-site team. You will build and sustain a high-performing supplier base, ensure materials meet stringent standards, and lead improvements in OTD, scrap, and RCCA.

You’ll audit suppliers, develop QA manuals, and partner with engineering for NPI. Travel up to 50% and mentor QC and buyers, leveraging Lean and Six Sigma to reduce cost and improve reliability.

Qualifications

APQP, PPAP, and FMEA experience required.
Strong GD&T, datum structures, and quality tool knowledge.
Familiar with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
Experience auditing suppliers and leading RCCA.

Responsibilities

Lead supplier quality audits and source inspections.
Develop and improve supplier quality manuals and specifications.
Address nonconformances and drive RCAs across projects.
Analyze supplier performance data and metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for NPI.
