Job summary

Divergent in Torrance, CA seeks a Senior/Staff Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to drive supplier excellence for critical components and equipment. Hybrid role with travel up to 50% to support audits and development of strategic supplier relationships.

You will lead quality programs, coordinate PPAP/APQP activities, and implement RCCA actions to reduce defects and improve metrics across the supply base.

Qualifications

• Experience with supplier quality engineering, PPAP, and APQP processes.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools, FMEA, PPAP and root cause analysis.
• Experience with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier quality initiatives and audits to ensure conformity and continuous improvement.
• Develop and sustain supplier quality manuals, procedures, and inspection plans.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and customers to flow down requirements to suppliers.
