Job summary

American Tower is seeking a Senior Supplier Management Specialist to lead supplier performance across regions and strategic partners within its Sourcing and Supplier Management team. The role focuses on governance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement to drive value for Operations, Legal, Finance, and executive stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in supplier performance/procurement, strong contract and risk management knowledge, and experience with SAP Ariba or Coupa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, concentration in Business, Supply Chain, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of supplier performance, procurement, or compliance experience required.
• Strong understanding of contract management, supplier governance, and risk frameworks required.
• Experience with health and safety standards and financial risk analysis required.
• Familiarity with TPRM tools and processes required.
• Proficiency in supplier management platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) preferred.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI) preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier performance measurement framework and regional performance reporting.
• Track supplier KPIs and SLAs to ensure alignment with contract/operational expectations.
• Lead supplier business reviews and executive performance discussions.
• Drive corrective action plans and hold suppliers accountable for results.
• Own supplier governance processes and compliance oversight.
• Support audits and compliance checks with Legal and Procurement teams.
• Coordinate escalation and executive-level interventions when needed.
• Monitor supplier health, safety compliance, and risk indicators.
• Collaborate with TPRM teams to onboard suppliers per risk frameworks.
