Job summary

Lucid Motors USA, Inc. is seeking a Staff Supplier Industrialization Engineer for our Corporate Plastic & Composite Powertrain Team. You will guide upfront design development and collaborate with suppliers to create new manufacturing methods, ensuring flawless execution during launch.

You bring 5+ years in automotive NPI, deep plastics knowledge, and PLM experience. Travel 25–75% to sites globally will be required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering; MS preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in New Product Introduction in automotive plastic & composite development.
• Knowledge of thermoplastic molding and secondary processes.
• Experience with PLM tools (Auros, Arena).
• Ability to read schematics and understand quality standards (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers to provide DFM feedback and approve tooling.
• Work with design engineering to down‑select concepts based on supplier input.
• Provide DFx feedback to support design concept down‑selection.
• Serve as the voice of the supplier to internal teams during development builds.
• Support RFx efforts and develop data packages for supplier bids.
• Develop custom manufacturing processes with external partners.
• Travel 25–75% to Lucid sites and supplier facilities.
