Intuitive Surgical is a global leader in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive care. We seek a Supplier Engineer to ensure high quality and stable delivery of production components from suppliers with robust quality systems.

You will drive parts qualification, supplier transfer, and process improvements, working with cross-functional teams to meet ISI requirements for product quality, cost, and service.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering field.
• 8+ years related experience in Manufacturing, Supplier Process Engineering, Design, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with a wide range of manufacturing processes including understanding of key input variables for quality, cost and capacity.
• Knowledge of GDP and QMS methods is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support Value Engineering and Quality Improvement Part Qualification efforts.
• Support transfer of parts between suppliers and complete PFMEA, Special Process Validations, FAI, and Process Capability Analysis.
• Drive corrective actions using root cause tools (8D, 5 Why) and ensure lasting actions.
• Identify correct manufacturing processes considering quality, capacity and lifecycle cost.
• Educate internal customers and suppliers on quality capabilities and tooling for supplier processes.
