Job summary

Schindler Elevator Corporation (U.S.) is seeking a Supervisor of Supplier Development and Industrialization to lead supplier development, industrialization, and production readiness for NA projects. You will manage KPI targets, supplier scorecards, and risk mitigation while ensuring alignment with customer requirements and cost objectives.

The role oversees a US-based technical team and suppliers, driving VA/VE initiatives and robust supplier performance, to deliver modular, high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8-10 years elevator components and manufacturing knowledge.
• 5-10 years cross-functional project leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of supplier development and industrialization processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier development and industrialization initiatives.
• Oversee supplier qualification and production readiness processes.
• Drive value engineering, cost reduction, and quality improvements with suppliers.
• Manage KPI setting and supplier scorecards, escalation and corrective actions.
• Develop and mentor the SDI team and ensure cross-functional collaboration.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to meet program milestones.
