Job summary

Amprius Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Supplier Development Engineer to lead technical engagement with suppliers supporting advanced lithium-ion cell materials, components, and contract manufacturing.

You will qualify and develop suppliers, industrialize new processes, and drive launch readiness from NPI through volume production. The role requires a self-starting engineer with strong battery manufacturing knowledge, hands-on supplier troubleshooting capability, and sound judgment in

Qualifications

• Experience taking products through NPI to ramp with external suppliers/CMs.
• Knowledge of battery cell manufacturing processes (electrode coating, formation) or components (anode/cathode materials).
• Ability to analyze manufacturing/test data and drive supplier improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification and development for battery materials, components, and contract manufacturers.
• Drive supplier industrialization from pilot to production ramp and ensure readiness for volume manufacturing.
• Lead on-site supplier audits focusing on capability, quality systems, and readiness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align supplier capability with product requirements and launch milestones.
