Job summary

3M is seeking a Senior Supervisor Manufacturing Operations to lead safety culture and LEAN principles across global teams. You will drive staffing decisions, align operations with the strategic plan, and foster a culture where employees become problem solvers.

Responsibilities include maintaining a robust safety mindset, continuous improvement, and rapid response to operational issues 24/7, with travel as needed and potential relocation support.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree/Technical Diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Five (5) years of manufacturing operations experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Experience in manufacturing facilities/operations, project management success demonstrated through teamwork
  • Black Belt or Lean Certification
  • Skills include leadership, understanding and driving culture change and impact on results
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering results
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree/Technical Diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Five (5) years of manufacturing operations experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $124,127 - $151,710, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
