Responsibilities

  • Analyze machining and assembly processes to design best manufacture method for quality, on-time production.
  • Collaborate with quality, operations, materials and development teams for issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain labor routings and operator allocations.
  • Plan work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity and schedules.
  • Conduct work measurements to support health, safety and performance improvements.

What you will be doing?
  • Analyze machining and assembly processes to design the best method of manufacture to safely produce a quality product on time.
  • Collaborate with teams in quality, operations, materials, and development departments for resolution of issues and root cause analysis
  • Maintain labor routings and operator worker allocations
  • Plan work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays
  • Perform work measurements as needed supporting operations to improve health, safety, and performance of staff
Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology and 5 years of industrial engineering experience or 9 years industrial engineering experience.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others
  • Excellent knowledge in routing design and related transaction codes within SAP
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and analytical ability where problems are very complex
  • Excellent knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
  • Excellent knowledge of Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Toyota Production System (or equivalent) concepts.
  • SAP Experience
