Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Superintendent to supervise project completion on-site at a Plymouth, NC location with travel as needed.

You will manage field staff, coordinate with owners, architects, and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of projects. Responsibilities include leading a high-performance field team, enforcing safety programs, reviewing drawings and submittals, maintaining CPM schedules, and coordinating with estimating for cost accuracy.

Qualifications

• Engineering, construction management, or architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years as superintendent.
• Prefer 8 years of field construction experience at a supervisory level.
• Prefer 3 years in utility-scale solar projects.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC).
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Ability to read drawings/specifications for all trades.
• Willingness to travel and be onsite; valid driver's license.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Superintendent duties and manage field staff and subcontractors.
• Recruit, screen, hire, mentor, and coach field staff.
• Represent on-site for assigned projects; maintain relationships with owners and subcontractors.
• Lead safety programs, inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain quality standards; conduct inspections and reviews.
• Oversee multiple projects; coordinate schedules, logistics, and meetings.
• Review drawings and submittals; chair pre-job and subcontractor meetings.
• Maintain CPM schedules and collaborate with estimating for cost accuracy.
• Prepare operational reports and provide progress updates to leadership.
• Travel as required; perform other duties as assigned.
