W. L. Butler, a long-standing California general contractor, seeks an experienced Superintendent for upcoming Peninsula projects starting Q1 2027.

This on-site, full-time role focuses on leading day-to-day field operations and keeping projects moving in occupied or phased environments. Candidates should have 8+ years in commercial construction, strong coordination skills, Procore and scheduling software experience, and OSHA 30/CPR certifications preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience as a Superintendent or similar field leadership role in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, means and methods, and all major trades.
• Lead subcontractors and coordinate complex project activities.
• Experience with occupied facilities, phased work, or client-facing environments is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred; CPR/First Aid preferred.
• Experience with Procore and scheduling software; MS Outlook, Excel, Word
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day field operations from startup through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including weekly look-aheads.
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, material deliveries, and jobsite logistics.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant jobsite culture.
• Ensure quality standards meet plans and specifications.
• Proactively identify and resolve field issues to protect schedule and budget.
• Partner with Project Managers to support objectives.
• Maintain project documentation using Procore and other tools.
• Build strong relationships with clients, design teams, and field personnel.
