AboutRAMConstruction in the United States seeks a Senior Superintendent to plan and facilitate daily field activities, ensure safety, manage the schedule, and coordinate subcontractors to maintain quality and progress.

You will read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, run multiple crews, attend weekly meetings, and oversee inspections with local authorities to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction projects for a General Contractor.
• Reading architectural, structural and MEP drawings is required.
• Experience with Procore and Bluebeam is preferred.
• Ability to schedule multiple crews and vendors in the critical path.
• Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Walk site daily to monitor activities and assist in planning.
• Perform quality control and ensure work aligns with contract scope.
• Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and inspectors.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with safety and environmental standards.
• Lead weekly subcontractor and safety meetings and issue non-compliance notices.

JobDescription

OurSeniorSuperintendentsareresponsibleforplanningandfacilitatingalldailyfieldactivities,sitesafety,schedule,qualitycontrol,andsubcontractorcoordination.

EssentialDuties&Responsibilities:

• Walkallareasonprojectdaily,tomonitoractivitiesandassistinfutureplanning.
• Performqualitycontroldutiesandresponsibilitiesregardingtheworkbeingperformed.
• CommunicatewithprojectteamregardingASI’s,RFI’s,andMaterialSubmittals.
• Ensurethateachsubcontractorisfullyexecutingandcomplyingwithhiscontractedscopeofwork.
• Coordinaterequiredinspectionswithlocaljurisdictions.
• Identifysubcontractornon-compliancewithsafety,health,andenvironmentalqualitystandards.
• Identifyconflictsinconstructionprogressandcommunicatethemtotheprojectteamforresolution.
• MaintaindailylogsinProcoreofactivitiesonthejobsite.
• Ensuresubcontractorhascorrectedanyandalldeficienciesthatmaybeidentifiedbytheprojectteam.
• Presideoverweeklysubcontractorandsafetymeetings,designedtocoordinatethework.
• Issuenoticesofnon-compliancetosubcontractorsinregardtothequalityofworkorscheduling.
• Ensurethatthejobsiteisalwayskeptinacleanandorganizedmanner.
• Performjobprogressandcompletionpunchlistidentificationandcompletion.
• Otherdutiesasrequired.

Requirements:

• ExperiencesupervisingconstructionprojectsforaGeneralContractor.
• Backgroundinclass-Aofficespaceandoccupiedbuildingsisaplus.
• Ground-upconstructionexperienceisaplus.
• Abilitytorunmultiplejobsatanygiventime.
• MusthaveexperienceworkinginOrangeCountymunicipalities,specificallyinterfacingwithbuildinginspectorsandcodeenforcementofficers.
• Proficiencyreadingarchitectural,structuralandMEPconstructiondrawings.
• Scheduleallsubcontractors,consultants,andvendorsinthecriticalpathtoensuretimelycompletion.
• MusthaveexperiencewithMicrosoftProjectandbeproficientinschedulingthroughthesoftware.
