Job summary

RAMConstruction in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project manager and team with documentation, cost accounting, scheduling, and supervision efforts. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and prioritizing tasks from preconstruction through completion.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management or equivalent, 2–3 years of project engineering experience in commercial construction, and familiarity with OSHPD/medical office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent preferred.
• 2–3 years as a Project Engineer in Commercial Construction Projects.
• Commercial TI experience required.
• OSHPD and/or Medical Office Building experience preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and understand constructability.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of construction document control, RFI's, and submittal processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Procore is a plus.
• Familiarity with CA labor laws and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-site management to ensure project execution success.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks before occurrence.
• Maintain and review daily superintendent reports.
• Ensure the project plan is moving forward to meet deadlines.
• Assist with material procurement, tracking, RFIs, submittals, etc.
• Assist with the project bidding process.
• Process owner and subcontractors' change orders.
• Set up OAC weekly meetings.
• Help train or mentor RAM employees and lead by example.
• Continuously seek RAM Construction process improvements.
