Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Senior Superintendent to join our national Mission Critical sector team.

You will oversee field project management on nationwide assignments and lead teams to deliver complex critical facilities. The role requires 15+ years of mission critical construction experience, strong knowledge of BIM/CAD, MS Project scheduling, and a proven ability to collaborate across disciplines while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in mission critical construction.
• Post high school education or equivalent in construction field.
• Valid driver's license; pass pre-employment drug/alcohol tests.
• Experience leading and supervising a project team.
• Strong knowledge of BIM and CAD; familiarity with building codes.
• Experience creating and managing a MS Project schedule; industry exposure.

• Develop and track CPM schedules.
• Manage budgets and safety programs while training personnel.
• Review design documents and shop drawings.
• Support material procurement and integrate into master schedule.
• Establish and monitor QC program.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor performance.
• Develop and track CPM schedules.
• Manage overall general construction budgets and safety programs while training personnel.
• Comprehend all design documents and review shop drawings.
• Assist project team with material procurement process and incorporate into master schedule.
• Establish and monitor QC program.
• Value-engineer throughout projects.
• Make sound choices and seek creative solutions to problems using all available resources.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with all project team members.
• Travel for projects as needed.

Requirements

• To be successful in this role, you must have at least 15+ years of experience in mission critical construction.
• Post high school education or equivalent in the construction field.
• Possess a valid driver's license, and must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test and subsequent random testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading and supervising a project team.
• Strong working knowledge of BIM and/or CAD and current building codes.
• Previous experience creating and managing a MS Project schedule, and familiarity with the construction market.
• Self-motivation and can supervise and work well with others while fostering a positive and inclusive work space.
