Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of commercial construction experience with field leadership as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent.
• Experience leading large commercial healthcare projects (acute-care hospitals, medical centers, occupied facilities).
• Knowledge of OSHPD/HCAI-regulated construction, inspections, documentation, safety, scheduling, closeout, and cost awareness.
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and building technologies; OSHA 30-hour and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads field operations for large commercial healthcare projects, including new construction, additions, renovations, and work in occupied facilities, with safety, quality, schedule, and project execution accountability.
• Develops, implements, and monitors jobsite safety plans, OSHA compliance, incident response, emergency planning, pre-task planning, safety walks, audits, and subcontractor safety performance.
• Plans and manages complex phasing, site logistics, temporary conditions, utility shutdowns, tie-ins, patient/staff access, noise and vibration controls, and OSHPD/HCAI requirements.
• Creates and manages master schedules, short-interval schedules, look-ahead schedules, manpower plans, recovery strategies, pull-planning, weekly work planning, constraint tracking, and Lean/Last Planner practices.
• Oversees subcontractors and field personnel, coordinates across trades and healthcare systems, leads coordination meetings, and maintains relationships with owners, healthcare representatives, design teams, inspectors, trades, and unions.
• Manages QA/QC plans, mock-ups, first-in-place installations, quality walks, deficiency tracking, as-built documentation, commissioning support, punch-list, and owner acceptance.
• Reviews contract documents, scopes, RFIs, submittals, coordination drawings, and field conditions; communicates project impacts; supports cost, labor, equipment, permitting, inspections, and site mobilization; mentors field staff.
