Job summary

Lithko Contracting in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead project execution. You will develop the overall project plan and coordinate with the operations team to drive execution from planning through turnover.

The role requires 5+ years of progressive project-execution experience in large-scale self-perform concrete contracting, with a focus on commercial/industrial projects and concrete self-perform expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large-scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Experience with a variety of project types, with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices, with experience on projects over $500K.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive project plan.
• Collaborate with the operational team during turnover and project planning.
• Understand project information and identify obstacles and opportunities for the project team.
• Prepare the project team for execution using defined planning processes.
• Engage the project team to generate accurate project information, including T&Q reports.
• Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign-in & sign-out sheets.
• Ensure project execution goals are met.
• Validate project awareness for the project team and make necessary adjustments to meet execution goals.
• Communicate project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

The Role

As a Senior Superintendent at Lithko Contracting, you'll be responsible for planning the execution phase of the project. You'll work closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.

• Experience with a variety of project types, with an emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices, with experience on projects over $500K.
• Ability to lead people and drive results for overall project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.
