Job summary

Lithko Contracting in Concord, NC is seeking a Superintendent to plan the execution phase of projects and align with the operations team to build a comprehensive project plan.

You will lead field teams, ensure timely access to equipment and materials, track site progress, and communicate status to stakeholders while focusing on Commercial/Industrial concrete projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
Experience with Commercial/Industrial projects emphasized.
In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices for projects over $1M.
Strong leadership and ability to drive project success.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop a project plan for their phase of work.
Identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
Prepare their team to execute using defined planning processes.
Ensure their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
Ensure project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
Communicate project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

As a Superintendent at Lithko Contracting, you'll be responsible for planning the execution phase of the project. You'll work closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements and Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Good organizational and communication skills.
5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
Seeking someone with a variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
In depth knowledge of construction principles/practices required with experience on projects over 1 million dollars.
Knows how to lead people and drive results for the overall project success.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering strongly preferred.
