Job summary

Lithko Contracting in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead the execution phase of complex concrete construction projects. You will partner with the operations team to craft an overall project plan and drive on-site delivery from kickoff to turnover.

The role requires 5+ years in project execution for a self-perform GC or concrete contractor, plus strong leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large-scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor.
• Self-perform experience of concrete is required.
• Experience with a variety of project types, with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices on projects over $500K.
• Ability to lead people and drive results for overall project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive project plan.
• Collaborate with the operational team during turnover and project planning.
• Understand project information and identify obstacles and opportunities for the project team.
• Prepare the project team for execution using defined planning processes.
• Engage the project team to generate accurate project information, including T&Q reports.
• Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign-in & sign-out sheets.
• Ensure project execution goals are met.
• Validate project awareness for the project team and adjust to meet goals.
• Communicate project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.

The Role
