LaBella Associates is seeking an experienced Subsurface Utility Engineering Project Manager for our Rochester, NY or Buffalo, NY office. You will lead SUE projects, manage staff, and oversee financial performance while expanding SUE services in the region.

The role requires strong project-management, leadership, and business-development skills, with collaboration across disciplines to prepare proposals and support growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in surveying, engineering technology, civil engineering, geology, construction, or related field.
• At least 10 years in SUE, utility locating, surveying or related infrastructure work.
• Experience in project management, staff leadership, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead SUE projects and staff within Rochester or Buffalo offices.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, invoicing, and client relations.
• QAQC of final SUE deliverables and collaborate with multi-discipline teams.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and regional growth.
