Job summary

WSP seeks a SUE Project Manager IV located at our Mooresville or Charlotte, NC offices to lead larger, more complex subsurface utility engineering projects with strong ownership of delivery, financials, client communication, risk management and quality.

You will manage scope, schedule and budget, mentor junior PMs, and coordinate across field, CAD, survey, operations, and client teams to ensure successful project outcomes with high technical quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 7 years of SUE, surveying, project management, or related project delivery experience.
• Strong understanding of SUE project delivery, field operations, CAD deliverables, and quality requirements.
• Ability to mentor developing project managers and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex or high-priority SUE projects from planning through closeout
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, resource planning, and delivery performance
• Lead coordination across field, CAD, survey, operations, client, and project teams
• Manage client communication, expectations, scope changes, and project issue resolution
• Monitor financial performance, schedule impacts, quality concerns, and delivery risks
• Review deliverables for technical quality, completeness, consistency, and client requirements
• Mentor developing project managers and support consistent project delivery practices
