Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking an experienced SUE Party Chief to join the Underground Utilities, Land Surveying, and Mapping team in Asheville (Candler), North Carolina. The role requires strong leadership of field crews, planning, and survey expertise.

Must have five years of utility designating and locating experience; Land Surveying experience is a plus. Travel and outdoor work are expected; valid license and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in utility designating and locating equipment with leadership experience.
• Land Surveying experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Participates in pre-survey planning meetings with PMs, engineers, and contractors.
• Assigns and monitors work; input for evaluation of field crew.
• Instructs and trains survey crew in methods, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Completes daily report cards and field sketches.
• Performs complex surveying calculations using AutoCAD and software.
