Job summary

State of Washington is seeking a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional or a SUDP Trainee to provide comprehensive SUD assessments and treatment within DOC facilities. The role requires applying ASAM criteria and DSM-5 to determine levels of care, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining confidential treatment records in accordance with CFR Part 2.

Responsibilities

• Review assessments and submit to Central Records as directed.
• Apply DSM and ASAM Criteria to diagnose and determine level of care.
• Maintain treatment records and document progress notes.
• Provide SUD treatment services on-site or off-site as assigned.
• Collaborate with DOC stakeholders to support the individual’s treatment and outcomes.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned assessments to support treatment planning.
