Job summary

Hunt Oil Company seeks a Development Manager, Reservoir Engineering & Geoscience to lead a multidisciplinary subsurface team focused on Bakken development and domestic growth opportunities. You will interface with drilling, completions, production, land, and finance, ensuring forecast accuracy and capital allocation decisions.

The role requires 15+ years in subsurface work, with 5+ years in unconventional plays, and strong leadership, communication, and AI analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or advanced degree in geology/geophysics or related technical discipline.
Minimum of 15 years subsurface experience with at least 5 years in unconventional plays.
Prior supervisory or mentoring responsibility over technical staff.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise and mentor a team of reservoir engineers and geologists.
Foster a collaborative, safety-first culture across the organization.
Lead integrated development planning for the Bakken asset and long-term development planning.
