The role requires 15+ years in subsurface, including 5+ years in unconventional plays, with strong leadership and communication skills, and experience with AI tools. Dallas-based HQ with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or related field required.
15+ years subsurface experience with 5+ years in unconventional plays.
Experience supervising technical staff and full-cycle development planning.
Experience with SEC reserves and well/project economics.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary subsurface team for Bakken and growth opportunities.
Direct subsurface evaluation and forecasts; interface with drilling, land, and finance.
Ensure accuracy and defensibility of reserves, valuations, and capital plans.
Mentor engineers and geoscientists; foster safety-first culture.
Lead integrated development planning and asset-level budgets.
Identify and pilot AI applications across workflows.
