Job summary

AFL is seeking a Senior Product Line Manager for the Substation portfolio. You will define product strategy, pricing, positioning, and lifecycle plans while driving market intelligence and profitability across front of the meter and high-voltage segments.

You will lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and operations to deliver compelling roadmaps, manage NPI processes, monitor market trends, and ensure competitive differentiation in a global, hybrid-work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing, business, science, or related field.
8+ years in product management, product marketing, or related fields.
Strong project management skills.
Experience with market trends, NPI processes, roadmaps, and lifecycle management.
Experience in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

Establish long-term vision and execute product strategy for assigned fiber optic substation ranges.
Communicate product-line vision to stakeholders.
Conduct market research and analyze trends, opportunities, and target segments.
Develop roadmaps aligned with strategic goals and customer priorities, including FTM, BTM, and 765kV builds.
Manage full product lifecycle from concept to retirement to maximize profitability.
Lead commercial input to product development and go-to-market processes.
Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and change processes.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Support.
