Job summary

Mesa Brand is seeking a part-time Senior Substation Physical Engineering Specialist to oversee deliverables in substation design projects. The ideal candidate will check drawings for accuracy, mentor junior staff, and interface with clients to ensure successful design products.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 20+ years of relevant experience. A flexible hybrid work schedule is offered, with occasional additional hours to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in substation design and engineering.
• Experience working directly for a utility is a plus.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check/review junior personnel's work for accuracy.
• Perform/review project scoping activities.
• Prepare engineering labor cost estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Interface with client engineers.
