Southern California Edison (SCE) seeks an Engineering Senior Manager for Substation Electrical Engineering to lead an extensive, geographically dispersed team. The role shapes grid design and delivery for hundreds of substations annually, driving safety, reliability, and modernization across the service area.

The position emphasizes leadership, project execution, risk management, and digital transformation, with a hybrid work model and travel within the SCE territory.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience supervising a team and/or managing projects.
• Experience performing engineering work in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; PE license or advanced leadership qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads engineering and business initiatives to plan, design, operate and maintain the grid to execute company strategy.
• Manages and prioritizes the engineering roadmap; drives efficiency and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Leads the project engineering group; accountable for delivery of small to large capital projects.
• Oversight of budgets, resource allocation, risk assessment and schedule adherence for capital programs.
• Champions digitalization, analytics and IDC capabilities to improve processes and outcomes.
• Develops and maintains risk management strategies and a culture of safety and compliance.
