Job summary

You will coordinate field meetings, mentor junior engineers, review contractor designs and purchase orders in Ariba, manage milestones and costs, and ensure compliance with NERC and utility standards while communicating clearly with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Two or more years of experience in substation engineering and design.
• Knowledge of guides, standards, codes, and methods for complex assignments.
• Highly organized with field meeting facilitation and meticulous note taking.
• AutoCAD design experience for developing and updating drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication; field meetings and note taking.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and design support for substation projects.
• Mentor and train junior engineers in the Substation Projects group.
• Review contractor designs and purchase orders; manage design milestones and costs.
• Lead field meetings to discuss scope of work and gather requirements.
