Hitachi Energy shapes the future of power systems by delivering smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions. As a Senior Project Lead Engineer, you will lead technical design for substation automation and coordinate complex projects with customers to ensure world-class execution.

You will configure SCADA systems, protective relays, and communication devices, and perform electrical testing using DOBLE and OMICRON.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in substation automation projects.
Strong knowledge of SCADA, protection systems, and communication protocols.
Hands-on testing experience with DOBLE and OMICRON equipment.
Must have work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design and engineering deliverables for substation automation projects.
Configure and test SCADA systems, protective relays, and communication devices.
Perform electrical testing using DOBLE and OMICRON.
Coordinate project activities across design, production, and commissioning phases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Engage with customers to optimize solutions and maintain high satisfaction.
Support project managers with technical input for proposals and risk assessments.
Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across teams.
Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
