Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral health or related field required.
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or CASAC-M in NYS required or preferred.
• Minimum two years of direct-care experience with supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes counseling methods to improve service quality.
• Identifies program areas for improvement and trains staff.
• Coordinates information flow to medical providers and regulators.
• Assigns cases to counselors and ensures direct patient care time.
• Appr oves treatment plans and monitors adherence.
• Conducts in-service training for counseling staff.
• Reviews counselors’ documentation.
• Chairs treatment team meetings and case reviews.
• Prepares monthly assessments and case conference reports.
• Directly provides counseling and crisis intervention when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
