Job summary

Subsea7 in Houston seeks an experienced engineer to support SURF projects, developing procedures and coordinating offshore execution with onshore teams. You will identify equipment, ensure certification, and liaise with clients and subcontractors in a technical capacity.

The role requires 8+ years in SURF, strong knowledge of codes & standards, and the ability to guide junior staff while traveling offshore ~60 days annually.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in SURF within marine/oil and gas.
• Identifies industry codes, standards and design guidelines.
• Supports package engineering and management.
• Maintains professional presentation appropriate to the role.

Responsibilities

• Support development of project-specific procedures for onshore & offshore work.
• Identify suitable equipment for offshore tasks with proper certification and compliance.
• Interface with subsea disciplines and project interfaces.
• Operate within the Business Management System policies and processes.
• Participate in meetings with Clients and subcontractors in a technical capacity.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and graduates.
• Travel and work offshore or onsite approximately 60 days per year.
