Job summary

Endurance Energy Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to lead validation of subsea electronics and test systems. You will own the test process from requirements to acceptance and collaborate with subsystem design engineers to validate under extreme environmental conditions.

Responsibilities include building test racks, writing automated test software, and planning campaigns to ensure reliability on the seafloor, with onsite work in Seattle and travel to deployment sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related STEM.
• 3+ years hardware/test engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and bringing up test systems: racks, fixtures, harnesses.
• Fluency with electrical lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, PSUs).
• Working knowledge of CAN, RS-422/485, Ethernet, SPI, I2C.
• Ability to read schematics and debug at board level.
• Experience writing test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Strong communication with cross-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware test systems end to end: requirements, architecture, design, build, bring-up, docs, upkeep.
• Derive test requirements from subsystem designs and provide test feedback.
• Design and build test racks, UUT fixtures, harnesses for power, loads, data acquisition.
• Write automated test software for instrument control and data acquisition.
• Plan and run development, qualification, and acceptance test campaigns.
• Write test plans, set pass/fail criteria, execute tests, and report results.
• Troubleshoot failures down to component level and drive root-cause actions.
• Scale test capability from development units to production acceptance.
