Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an experienced engineer to integrate electrical power systems for the IPMP Phase IV and SSN(X) programs. You will contribute to the technical approach and delivery strategy for future submarine propulsion projects, collaborating across sites.

The role emphasizes design, testing, and operation of shipboard systems with occasional travel to EB and Newport News, and requires a minimum of 6 years in a related field or a relevant advanced degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in a technical, engineering or science field with relevant experience
• Option of Senior Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or RPCO Engineer currently at the company
• Citizenship requirement: U.S. citizens for all candidates
